Celebrate the power of information and technology and their role in transforming health during Global Health Equity Week, an action and advocacy-focused initiative from Oct. 24-28, 2022.
HIMSS is pleased to host this virtual, partner-driven program that emphasizes the importance of inclusion efforts, supports the elimination of health disparities and helps ensure that everyone, everywhere has access to health and wellness.
In past years, experts, innovators and educators have partnered with HIMSS to highlight the role digital health plays in supporting maternal health, patient identification and safety, telehealth, broadband access and public health data modernization.
This year, HIMSS will continue to support and expand those efforts, focusing on:
- Chronic disease management
- Digital health literacy, inclusion, and access
- Maternal health
- Substance use and behavioral health
- Workforce inclusion
Participants will have opportunities to elevate conversations about care and wellness and to advance real change for populations around the world. HIMSS will provide communications toolkits, host virtual marches, present select health equity webinars, and highlight relevant resources throughout the week.

Help advance the cause of health and wellness for everyone, everywhere by advocating for underserved groups in health information and technology around the globe, and collaborate to find real-world solutions to challenges and roadblocks.
